the Continuing Education Division holds a course on applicable law in the field of intellectual property rights and occupational rights, the lecture was presented by dr. Raghad Abd al-Amir Mazloum, the lecture aimed at demonstrating the adaptation of the legal relationship marred by a foreign element and to determine the law applicable to intellectual property rights and occupational rights in case of infringement of the right.The lecture dealt with many issues, most notably: it Defined what intellectual property, occupational rights and the role of the State to protect the author’s right by publishing literature through domestic laws and international conventions that provide the protective scope of the author in the form of assault and theft, as well as to indicate the elements of intellectual property such as the moral and material element, as well as to determine the law applicable to the dispute arising to the author if this dispute is marred by a foreign element.
