The Faculty of Law and Political Science was founded in 2002 and consists of two departments: Law department and Political Sciences departments, as well as a postgraduate/master’s degree programme. (Law/Human Rights and Public Freedoms), the College aims at consolidating and disseminating legal culture and provide Iraqi society with a qualified young people who are aware of science and knowledge in order to contribute in building a legal State that guarantees the rights and duties of all members of our society.
One of the most important principles and values that the College’s management is working towards is justice, equality, non-discrimination, transparency, integrity and adherence to high morality and humanity, whether on or off campus, and the need to work in a team spirit in order to achieve brilliance, creativity and renewal.
The Faculty of Law and Political Science, in all its academic and administrative staff seek to optimize the requirements of the educational process and develop students’ skills by updating them on the science of law, political science and the modern techniques related to the disciplines of scientific departments in the faculty, whether at the level of primary or postgraduate studies,
To be eligible to contribute to the assumption of responsibility with their fellow citizens of their country in its management and advancement towards upliftment and superiority in the ranks of developed countries.
