Faculty of Law and Political Science holds a course deals with conflict of laws in intellectual property rights investment contracts
Sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science Pro. Dr. Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Tamimi, The Law Section held a course on Conflict of Laws in Intellectual Property Rights Investment Contracts under Private International Law, where the course through which Dr.Raghad Abd al-Amir Mazloum pointed out that intellectual property rights are internationally and nationally sponsored because of their great importance at the social, political and economic levels, she also added that those rights had a major role to play in the progress societies. Those rights were international in nature, qualifying it for investment and access to a foreign component. This means that such a relationship is entered into in conflict with the laws of different States, which requires a valid law of judgement to be sought through the application of a more valid law and is eligible for the provision of this type of contract of an international character.
It is worth to be mentioned that thoes workshops and courses are prepared within the annual scientific plan drawn up by the Law Department of the College for the academic year 2022-2023 in order to develop and sensitize his students on various laws, regulations and legislation that contribute to increasing their academic and legal information.
