Faculty of Law and Political Science holds a seminar discussing (English language in education, usage and impact)

Under the auspices of President of Diyala University Dr.Tahsin Hussein Mubarak and under the supervision of Dean of the Faculty of Law and Science Dr. Khalifa Ibrahim Odeh, the Department of Political Science held his seminar on English language in education, usage and impact with cooperation of the Division of Continuing Education.

The lecture which was presented by Mrs. Zainab Katiba aimed at:

Creating an educated human being who has communication and potential in English language, which became nowadays a necessity of contemporary life at all levels. Focusing on the undergraduate students who represent the intellectual and influential segment of society.

The seminar included three themes:

The first was a simple identification of the origin of English language. The second lecture involved the ways and means of investing language using the modern, non-traditional approaches which is adopted nowadays. At the third part, the lecture described the impact of English on academic students and English learners.
