Studies and Planning Section

Functions of Studies and Planning Section:

The Section of Studies and Planning of the Faculty of Law and Political Science carries out the following.

– The Division takes care of the curricula and follows up on all changes that occur to them as follows:

•        Follow up the approval of curricula issued by the sectoral and circulate them to the scientific departments.

•        Studies on curriculum updates are submitted to the College Council after approval by the scientific committees in the departments.

  • Follow-up with the development in the curriculum in coopration the Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency.
  • To submit the College Council recommendations  concerning the approval of the College’s academic system.
  • Preparing studies of new departments, divisions or units opening that the college consider it necessary in the work development, including the development of postgraduate studies in scientific departments.
  • Preparing the annual statistical calendar of the college and the movement of staffing in the college.
  • Preparation of the annual plan with the capacity of students admitted in accordance with the central admission to the morning and evening studies.
  • Preparation of five-year and ten-year plans for the College’s need for service, career and teaching staff.
  • Preparation of studies on infrastructure (classrooms, laboratories) and their uptake of students in the college and the college’s need for the required expansion.
  • Preparing statistical tables of students, staff and teachers according to electronic systems (oracle) and share it with the information unite at the college.
  • Preparing statistical tables with the teaching staff members and their degrees, scientific titles and general and accurate disciplines.
